Arlington MLK Receives $5,000 Art Grant
The Arlington Arts Alliance presented the Arlington Martin Luther King Jr.
Celebration with a $5,000 grant. The grant will be used to commission an
original composition to be performed by musician Adonis Rose and local students.
The grant was awarded on November 7 at the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
Accepting the grant from Arlington Arts Alliance Chairman Jeff Pokrifcsak is MLK
Chairman Dr. Curtis Hill of Tarrant County college. TCC Southeast is one of the
proud sponsors of the January 2008 Arlington MLK Celebration.
