Every
year approximately 12,000 animals end up at the Animal Center. Spring
is the most difficult time because more animals enter the shelter
during the spring than at any other time of the year. This increase in
animals exhausts the center’s available food supply.
Animal Services is seeking donations of dry dog food, wet and dry
cat food, and puppy and kitten food. Food donations may be dropped off
at the Animal Services Center located at 5920 W. Pioneer Parkway. The
center is open from 10 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. Monday thru Friday; Saturday
10 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.; Closed to the public on Sundays.
Approximately $15,000 of dog and cat food is donated every year.
Your donations make a difference.
