Our
goal is to encourage responsible pet ownership by offering licensing
programs, field enforcement services, and educational programs for
Arlington citizens. The care of stray and unwanted animals, and the
eradication of rabies from the community’s animal population are
critical to successful operation.
We
provide services to the citizens of Arlington for the following:
Stray animals
Animal bites
Wildlife/exotics
Nuisances:
- Barking
- Odor
Loose livestock
Animal cruelty
Public education programs:
- Schools
- Day cares
- Adult groups
- Utility companies

Beginning
Tuesday, January 15, 2008, a new fee schedule becomes effective for various
health, animal, transportation and code enforcement services provided in the
City of Arlington. Many of the additions and adjustments provide incentives for increasing the
standards in Arlington to help make neighborhoods more safe and attractive. View
